Bio: Mario Chaney is an artist, graphic and web designer and native Detroiter who loves everything creative. His inspiration includes Andy Warhol, Saul Bass, movies and music. As the manager of design at Wayne State University in the Marketing and Communications department, he has spent his career pushing the envelope with a clean and modern approach to typography and design. Chaney is a Wayne State alum with a bachelors of fine arts and has a certificate of web design from the College for Creative Studies. During his 17 years of designing, he has enjoyed creating brands and identities for small businesses and nonprofit organizations, as well as event marketing and design. In addition, Chaney is a stellar singer and actor in community theatres and local churches.
