Today we chat with Matthew LaVere, a Detroit photographer who specializes in environmental portraiture and pre-production. An avid traveler, Matthew uses his keen eye to capture images across the nation; he has photographed in major cities from coast to coast with no plans to slow down this year. Aside from photography, Matthew loves three things: good food, good coffee and good people.

Matthew’s presentation will focus on how he started his business, amid the Great Recession. Highlighting how he was able to market himself on a budget, and what he was able to accomplish. Something we’re all finding ourselves doing, yet again, during these unprecedented times.
