Flying in from from Stockholm, Sweden our guest Andrea Pippins will share a brief presentation, followed by a facilitated conversation with an open floor for questions. Andrea Pippins is an illustrator, designer, and author who has a passion for creating images that reflect what she wants to see in art, media, and pop culture. Her vision is to empower people of color with tools and inspiration to create and tell their own stories. Andrea is the author of I Love My Hair, a coloring book featuring her illustrations celebrating various hairstyles and textures, and Becoming Me, an outlet to color, doodle, and brainstorm your way to a creative life. Andrea's third book, Young, Gifted & Black, has been released this past spring. Her clients include O: The Oprah Magazine, Scoop Magazine, Family Circle, The Huffington Post, Bustle, Free People, Lincoln Center and the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
