About:
During this two-day WordPress workshop you’ll explore the construction of themes, management of content, the use of widgets and plugins, plus how to maintain a secure website or blog. You will also receive additional resources to continue your study and mastery of WordPress. The workshop will be led by educator and artist Dee Overly who has WordPress teaching experience and expertise in leading accelerated classes of this nature.
We will break for lunch each day around noon, there is a few options for food nearby but driving is required. Please feel free to brown bag it!
Prerequisites:
The purchase of a hosting account and a domain name 48 hours prior to workshop. The instructor for this class has recommended HostGator but feel free to use whatever you are comfortable with as long as it supports wordpress installation.
