I encourage people who do storytelling, visuals, and content in Detroit to turn their lenses towards the people, to give those people time to show up in a way that most represents them, and to capture the joy of our residents. I know you like taking pictures of the buildings, landscapes, and homes but that’s not the star of this story. Detroit is a people story. Go out and meet them. It’ll change your life.
